Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo During Your Stay in Manitowoc

There aren't many activities that are more fun than spending time watching animals, especially animals you don't see every day such as bears, snow leopards, and more wild animals. While you stay or pass through Manitowoc, be sure to take the family and visit the Lincoln Park Zoo!

Zoo Hours & Admission

The zoo is open all year long, and admission is free to enter (although a $1 donation is suggested for kinds, $2 suggested for adults). Spring/Fall hours (Labor Day-October 31, and April 1-Memorial Day) are Monday-Saturday 7am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Summer hours (Memorial Day-Labor Day) are every day 7am-7pm. Winter hours (November-March) are Monday-Saturday 7am-3pm, closed Sundays.

About the Zoo

Established in 1935, the Lincoln Park Zoo is a great place for families to spend an afternoon together. Located on the banks of the Little Manitowoc River, guests will not only see zoo animals, but the many species of animals that have a habitat along the river. Over the years, the Lincoln Park Zoo has seen many expansions and renovations to improve the facilities funded from donations from individuals as well as local and national organizations.
